GU11s Advance to Finals In John Smith Columbus Day Tournament |

BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS - OCTOBER 11 2004 - The Boston Blast GU11 team was a finalist in the John Smith Columbus Day Tournament. They defeated the Concord Panthers 9-1, the Hudson Jr. Hawks 3-2 and lost to the Revolution 4-0 to advance to the semi-final round, where they defeated the GU12 Burlington team 4-3. The final match was their fifth match in two days and they were slotted against the Revolution, a GU12 club team from Connecticut whom they had lost to in the initial group play 4-0. The girls fought hard but were defeated 2-1.
