FAIRFAX VIRGINIA – MAY 30, 2005 – The BU14 Boston Blast team won the Virginia Cup divison at the 2005 Virginian Memorial Day tournament. Playing in the top division, the team won their group with a record of 2-0-1. The team advanced to the finals by beating the Arlingtion Titans (Virginia) on penalties. The championship game against MCSA '91 Strykers (Virginia) was scoreless until the Boston Blast netted their first goal in the 66th minute. An insurance goal was scored 2 minutes later.
