MEDFORD MASSACHUSETTS - June 8 2008 - The Boston Blast BU18 team was eliminated from the State Cup today on the first tie-breaker, goal differential. Both the Blast and Western United ended the Round Robin stage with a record of 1-1-1 but Western United advanced on the virtue of scoring one more goal. In State Cup play the BU18s had an overall record of 2-1-1 scoring four goals and giving up just one.
