LANCASTER MASSACHUSETTS - June 15 2008 - The Boston Blast U15 Boys won the Massachusetts State Cup for the second consecutive year today by defeating FC Puma in the championship game by a score of 1-0.  The boys successfully defended their State Championship by winning all of their games, defeating FC Viking (5-4), FC Puma (2-0), and Crusaders United (6-0) in the roound robin bracket and defeating longtime rival FC Greater Boston (4-3) in the semi-finals.   

Head Coach Luis Cabral said he's pleased with the overall performance of the team and feels that the team is peaking at the right time. The team will represent Massachusetts to the Region 1 tournament being held in Portland ME from June 26th to July 1. The winners of the four US regional tournaments will play for the National Championship in Little Rock AK, July 23-27.
