WELLESLEY MASSACHUSETTS – MARCH 13 2005 - The Boston Blast U17 Girl's team was a finalist at this year's March 2005 Wellesley College Tournament. The team was undefeated and unscored upon in group play defeating College teams (Wheelock College 4-0, Wellesley College 2-0) and Club teams from Massachusetts (Boston Blast GU18 2-0) and Connecticut (Eagle Elite GU17 Blue 2-0, Eagle Elite GU18 Gold 2-0). Boston Blast GU17s advanced to the finals defeating Eagle Elite GU17 White on PK's 2-0 (1-1 in regulation play). Boston Blast lost the final to The Azzurri Division 1 Senior Women's team by a score 4-1.
